Artist’s statement

My creative work has grown out of a need for freedom and constant experimentation. For me, art is an independent space — a place where I can test the boundaries of painterly language, explore new perspectives and forms of expression and break aesthetic and conceptual patterns. I create intuitively, guided by curiosity and an inner impulse. I cannot say what I will create in a month, a year, or several years. Art is a journey into the unknown for me.

I do not limit myself to one style or theme; each work is a separate experiment, both formal and emotional. Diversity is a natural effect of my need for creative freedom and continuous exploration. Often, the paintings are born much earlier in my mind and imagination, maturing long before they appear on the canvas. For me, painting is the final stage of a process that started much earlier.

I work in the spirit of slow art — with mindfulness, focus, and respect for time. I believe it is better to create one thoughtful painting than many random ones. In my work, there is no place for haste or compromise; authenticity is paramount. I use classical oil painting techniques and prepare my own canvases, enjoying the creative process as long as possible. Every stage of the process is an integral part of the artwork. For me, this is freedom and independence.

2008-2011- Artistic, theatrical classes at the Ochota theater in Warsaw.
